Ilavam Pisin or Silk Cotton Tree Gum is the stem extract of Silk Cotton Tree. Out of all pisin, only this pisin looks like a wooden piece in appearance. It automatically comes out on cut parts of the tree. These Pisins are collected, dried well and available as raw material. It is being used by our ancestors for various purpose.
