Mahilam or Spanish Cherry is a big tree grows in all parts of India and Flower from June to August. Its flowers are having very good aroma along with many nutrients and herbal values. Its flowers called as mahilampoo are collected, dried well and avilable as raw material.

It is It is being used by our ancestors since long long ago. It is called as Spanish Cherry in English, Maulsari in Hindi, Pogada Chettu in Telugu, Elengi in Malayalam, Ranja in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Mimusops Elengi.
